On Sunday, February 15, 2026, I will take part in a reading in solidarity with the Iranian movement. “Where Words Defeat Bullets,” presented by Asemana Books, will take place from 1:00 to 3:00pm in Meeting Room 101 at the North York Central Library in Toronto. I will read alongside poets Brett Campbell, Brenda Clews, Patrick Connors, Mahdi Ganjavi, Keith Garebian, Bruce Hunter, Patricia Keeney, Diana Manole, Mark McAlister, Bruce Meyer, Peta-Gaye Nash, Mansour Noorbakhsh, John Oughton, Olga Stein, CY Strom, Peter Taylor, and Susan Ksiezopolski.
