Please join me for the next iteration of Five Poets Breaking into Song, a zoom event hosted by George Elliott Clarke, featuring the work of Al Moritz, Micheline Maylor, and Bruce Meyer, as well as the posthumous work of Irving Layton and Libby Scheier.
Each poet (or their proxy) will read some of their own poetry, followed by the performance of an original song: one of their poems set to music by D.D. Jackson.

While this is the 6th iteration of Clarke’s 5 Poets series, it is the first to be co-sponsored by the Tartan Turban Secret Reading series, which makes it the 36th TTSR event.
This reading is also supported by the League of Canadian Poets and the Canada Council for the Arts.
