Canadian Bengali Launch

Please join poet A.F. Moritz in celebrating the launch of three Canadian Bengali Publications edited by Subrata Kumar Das on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 7:00pm at St. Paul’s United Church, 200 McIntosh Street, Scarborough. Moritz will provide a few words of celebration by way of introducing these publications, which include:
An issue of London-UK-based literary journal Poetry Out Loud (POL) with a supplement about Canadian literature and containing Candian writing edited by Subrata Kumar Das.
The Kolkata-based bilingual (Bengali & English) literary magazine Sahitya Ekhaan’s special issue on Canadian literature, guest edited by Subrata Kumar Das.
A 540-page Bengali book on the experiences of the Bengalis in Canada with sections contributed by 71 writers living in Canada from all coasts, edited by Subrata Kumar Das.
