Catalogue of Bourgeois Objects

chapbook

Poem by A. F. Moritz and collages by Larry Zirlin

Some, 1977

from Catalogue of Bourgeois Objects

Three-footed wingless bird of prety with desolate plateau head dominated by the following obsession: a naked woman balancing a blank head on her blank head, the topmost head wearing a hat which is a burning mainsail
One reedless clarinet among a rattling of dried reeds
Passageway that prevents the rain from touching you
Discreet cupboard which has endured many dinners without ever giving its untainted service

While this chapbook is no longer in print, this work was recently reprinted within the Black Orchid section of Early Poems.
