Today is the Publication Day for my new collection of poems, As Far As You Know from House of Anansi Press.
Congratulations, as well, to fellow Anansi poets, Mathew Henderson, who launches Roguelike, and John Elizabeth Stintzi who debuts with Junebat today!
We were supposed to have been celebrating with a series of Anansi Bashes all over Canada and the States! But, due to Covid-19, we’ll be celebrating in isolation!
To that end, I’ll be posting updates from today’s “virtual launch day” on social media as they become available!
First up: Sean of Ottawa Writer’s Fest recommends the book on CBC’s All in A Day with Alan Neal and reads my recent pandemic poem from The Toronto Star!
Next:
How can you get your hands on a copy of As Far As You Know ?
- Order the book or e-book straight from the publisher, Anansi.
- Support both Anansi and your favourite local bookstore by placing an order with your local shop [Here’s Quill & Quire’s list of Canadian independent bookstores offering delivery and Now’s list of Toronto-specific booksellers.]
- To my American friends who have pre-ordered or who plan to order AFAYK in paperback or Kindle from Amazon.com: To increase visibility for the book as well as for my publisher and their full catalogue, please leave a quick review and a smattering of stars [as many as you choose] in the comments. With your help, AFAYK and all Anansi releases will come to the attention of as many readers as possible during this period of quarantine!
By all means, stay in touch!
Post comments, pictures, and videos of yourself receiving your copy of As Far As You Know, reading from the book, and remarking on the poems! And tag me in all your posts: I’m @afmoritz on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook!
Happy Birthday, As Far As You Know!
