Art Bar Reading – Tonight!

I’ll be reading, tonight, Tuesday, October 16, at the Art Bar, alongside poets Linda Frank and Marvyne Jenoff. The Art Bar Poetry Series is held at the Free Times Cafe, 320 College Street in Toronto. The event begins at 8:00pm. And, there is a $5 charge at the door. Terry Trowbridge will be the evening’s host! I hope you’ll join me!

Here’s a bit more about the featured readers with whom I’ll have the pleasure of reading:

Linda Frank
Linda Frank was born in Montreal but now lives in Hamilton. She has been shortlisted for the Pat Lowther award and the Natiional Magazine Award and is a past winner of the Bliss Carman award. Her latest book, Divided, was published with Wolsak and Wynn in the spring of 2018.

Marvyne Jenoff
Since beginning publication as a student in the 1960s, Marvyne Jenoff’s work has appeared in many Canadian literary journals. She is the author of three poetry books and one of experimental fiction published by Canadian literary presses between 1972 and 1995. Since then she has self-published several chapbooks with Twoffish Press from 2006. She is currently working on a book of poems to be called Bone’s Business. Marvyne also exhibits her visual art in Toronto; see www.marvynejenoff.org.
