For the sixth year in a row, Beatriz Hausner and Gaston Bellemare have organized a bilingual poetry event. This Friday, December 1st, the Festival International de la Poésie presents three francophone poets, Stéphane Despatie, Corinne Chevarier, and Eric Charlebois. Along with Julie Joosten, I will have the pleasure of reading English translations of their work.
Please join us on December 1st, at Knife Fork Book at the Dark Side Studio, 244 Augusta Avenue, Toronto. The doors open at 7:30 pm, and the readings begin promptly at 8:00 pm. Admission is free. And, books by the authors will be available to purchase.
